22nd Delhi Book Fair begins today
The 22nd edition of the Delhi Book Fair will begin today at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi and will conclude on September 4. This year, the focus of the event will be to highlight initiatives undertaken by the central government for its Sarva Shiksha Abhiyaan to inculcate better reading habits among the younger generation.
The fair is being organised by the Indian Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) in association with the Federation of Indian Publishers. National campaigns launched in the past two years will find a place in the Theme Pavilion which will be transformed into a 'selfie station'.
