Javadekar to inaugurate transit campus of IIT in Jammu today
Union Minister for Human Resource and Development Prakash Javadekar will inaugurate the transit campus of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) at village Jagti, Tehsil Nagrota in Jammu today. As earlier the Parliament has passed a Bill on setting up an IITs in Palakkad (Kerala), Goa, Dharward (Karnataka), J&K, and Bhilai (Chhattisgarh).
Even a total of 90 students have been enrolled at IIT Jammu for the academic session. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) had been signed between the Department of Higher Education, Jammu and Kashmir and the Department of Higher Education in the HRD Ministry, on May 1, 2016 in this regard. The construction of transit campus spread over 25 acres within the actual site will start soon.
So let's discuss some questions related to this post:
1. Name the place where HRD Minister is going to inaugurate the ransit campus of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)?
2. Who is the Union Minister for Human Resource and Development?
