Isro's launches INSAT-3DR from Sriharikota

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has launched GSLV rocket, which will carry the weather satellite INSAT-3DR from Sriharikota, Andhra pradesh. The 2211-kg INSAT 3DR will be placed in an orbit 36,000 km above Earth.

It has imaging capabilities for night-time pictures and carries special search and rescue transponder. It is the first operational flight of Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV) carrying Cryogenic Upper Stage.
So let's discuss some questions related to this post:
1. Expand the term ISRO and GSLV?
2. Name the country, which has successfully launched its advanced weather satellite INSAT-3DR, recently?
3. ISRO has successfully launched its advanced weather satellite INSAT-3DR from which spaceport?
