RBI to launch new Rs. 500, Rs. 2,000 notes from 10th November onwards
Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has announced that the new series of 500 and 2,000 rupees notes will be available in banks and post-offices from 10th November onwords and assured that there will be adequate availability of the new notes in the coming days.
Economic Affairs Secretary Shaktikanta Das has announced that the government will unveil Rs. 1,000 notes with a new colour combination and design in a few months.
