Nation Pays Homage to Former PM Lal Bahadur Shastri on his Birth Anniversary

 

The nation also pays homage to former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri on his birth anniversary on 02nd October 2017.  Lal Bahadur Shastri was born on 02nd October 1901 at Mughalsarai, a small railway town seven miles from Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh. 

Lal Bahadur Shastri led the country during the Indo-Pakistan War of 1965 and gave the slogan - "Jai Jawan Jai Kisan" which is remembered even today.
